Conference Theme: Creative Sparks: Igniting Innovation and Imagination in Scholarship and Pedagogy ‘Creativity‘ involves the generation, exploration, and interpretation of novel and valuable ideas. It can be an intentional decision that turns into an extraordinary composition, an impactful dance, or poetry, or in the academic and business space could be: founding a company, developing a new technology, writing an impactful research article, or creating a new way for students to learn in the classroom. In an evolving world, including our workplaces and classrooms, we as educators need to strive to understand and implement creativity to help each of us learn and grow personally and professionally. Innovation and Imagination
Your research and teaching innovations open minds to new ways to consider the challenges and opportunities facing our world. How will businesses and universities be creative to increase innovation and imagination within their existing systems and processes? How can we be more creative in our research ideas, samples, etc.? How do we creatively and effectively teach new and upcoming generations? What are your novel ideas related to experiential learning?
Join us in Baltimore, MD for the 62nd Annual Meeting of the Eastern Academy of Management as we explore these questions and many others that ground our research, teaching, learning, and service.
We welcome submissions on all management topics. Submissions on this theme may explore a wide range of topics, such as:
Join us in the heart of downtown Baltimore with convenient access to some of the city’s favorite attractions. One block from the conference hotel, you can catch an Orioles game at Camden Yards or practice your golf swing at the TopGolf, one mile away. The hotel is also a short distance to the historic Federal Hill, Fort McHenry, the National Aquarium, and a variety of museums - including the American Visionary Art Museum and the Railroad Museum.
